the air conditioning throughout the hotel offered a cool haven. i got upgraded from a sea view room to a palm view room on the third floor (it gave me a great perspective). i enjoyed the large, well-furnished room, especially the bath and rainforest shower.

i found the transition to using qr codes in every venue irritating. no proper menus meant i had to take my phone out at the table.
